La fête du pain

(Encore une fois, je m'excuse pour l'absence de mise à jour! J'ai été partie deux semaines, vous verrez pourquoi plus tard...)

Innan jag reste iväg var det den årliga brödfesten i byn, då i princip hela byn samlas för att dricka öl och göra vårbrasan (som vår Valborg) men framför allt sälja och köpa bröd som de bakat i byns åtaliga allmänna ugnar (http://cecilialindner.blogspot.com/2009/09/le-pain-fran-c-ais-39-limpor-raknade.html) hela dagen. Pengarna går sedan till skolorna i regionen.

La famille!

First of all, sorry for the poor updating. The reason for that is the amazing week I passed with my whole Swedish family (minus Pernilla, plus Grandma and Bryce) skiing, sightseeing and Swedish-speaking (in France)! It all passed wayyyy too fast and being away with them made me forget about everything else, though I did remember to take some photos. Alors voilà un petit resumé!

Jour 1 - meeting the third hostfamily + lunch in Annecy + sightseeing in Aix + coffee at my first hostfamilys house

Axel and Nellie became especially fond of my host dog Lilly...

Jour 2 - ice cream in the sun in Lausanne + checking in at the hotel in Verbier

Jour 3-4 - Amazing skiing in Verbier + playing "Face Ten"

Jour 5 - skiing in Chamonix + nice dinner at the hotel room

Jour 6 - Pain au chocolat in the sun + coffee and shopping in Chamonix + back to Aix and goodbye to Cecilia (and Lilly)!!

But eventually the car was all packed and it was time for the family to go back home. Hejdå!
